I believe cycling is more than just a sport—it’s a path toward confidence, adventure, resilience, and personal growth.

For over 15 years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people learn, grow, and believe in themselves. As an educator, coach, mentor, racer, and bike touring enthusiast, I’ve seen firsthand how cycling can transform lives both on and off the bike.

Beyond the Pedals was created to help riders of every age and experience level discover what they’re truly capable of.

My journey began long before cycling. After years of competitive motocross, I discovered mountain biking in 2017 and quickly fell in love with the challenge, adventure, and community the sport provided.

Since then, I’ve progressed from a beginner to competing at an elite level, completed a self-supported bicycle tour of the entire East and West Coast of the United States, and spent countless hours coaching, mentoring, and supporting riders pursuing their own goals.

Throughout that journey, one lesson became clear:

The greatest reward isn’t standing on a podium—it’s helping someone else accomplish something they once thought was impossible.

That realization became the foundation of Beyond the Pedals.

• 15+ years as an Elementary Special Education Educator certified in numerous programs while also holding a M.A. in Literacy.

• Elite-level mountain bike competitor podiuming various high caliber events such as Leadville Stage Race, The Transylvania Epic Stage Race, The Brec Epic, and Steamboat Grvl and Belgium Waffle Ride (BWR NC). In addition to claiming the 2025 Mid Atlantic Super Series (M.A.S.S) 2025 Open Endurance Championship.
